Forequarter of beef

The next Beef Butchery course will be taking place on 15th Feb 2012.

 

The course will be held at our premesis in Glossop, and will run from 6:30-9:30

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. The course will start with a tour of our abattoir where the whole slaughter process will be explained.
  2. A demonstration of splitting a forequarter will be given and an explanation of all the various cuts of meat you can get from a forequarter.
  3. Guests will have the opportunity to break a forequarter into all the constituent cuts
  4. Guests will be shown how to prepare a rib of beef on the bone and how to bone out a shin of beef
  5. Guests will receive a complementary pack of cuts of stewing beef to take home

We source all our meat from farms within the Peak District, the North West and Midlands, usually within 35 miles of our shops.
