Recipe Competition to win £50 in vouchers towards your Christmas meat. Submit your favourite recipe - old or new! The recipes will be evaluated by top Manchester chefs, then the best 3 will be prepared by our own in-house chef, James. The final judge will be the head restaurant chef from the Hilton Deansgate (formerly of the Ivy and Caprice in London) who will decide the winner to be announced on the 13th Dec in time for Christmas. British Sausage Week - 3rd - 9th November 2008 British Sausage Week is designed to provide a fun and lively way to promote the great tradition of sausage eating in Britain. Now about to enter its eleventh year, the Week has become a major event and receives a great amount of publicity. A huge number of organisations get involved in British Sausage Week every year. These include schools, pubs, restaurants, charities and caterers, and of course butchers! To celebrate British Sausage Week we are running a competition to win the 'Great Black Pudding Banger' and 10lb (approx 120 sausages) of your choice.
